It fascinates me how similar, yet dissimilar, the past was and how it continues to be relevant today. George Santayana stated that “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” (The Life of Reason). This seems eerily true as we witness the past repeating mistakes. Learning where we came from can help us evolve, help us learn how to become a more progressive society.

We are not separated from the history of the world; we are a product of the world’s history.​
